(Click to get a larger view; I want you to see the earring details.)
My dear friend, Donna, who lives in San Miguel, Mexico, has been making earrings and offered a pair to one lucky follower of her blog. I never felt so lucky when she drew my name. Donna made fun ones like the set I selected and more traditional styles too. When she asked me to select a pair, I definitely wanted the "Day of the Dead" because it is so hard to find items for this theme in Idaho. Just look at the card she made for the earrings; Freda never looked so good.
But that's not all. Donna is well known for her mail art and I wanted you to view the envelope she made for the earrings.
Back of envelope
Keep in mind, papers, elements and crafting supplies are hard to come by in San Miguel and what she creates from a limited source is amazing. Aren't they beautiful!
Thank you so much, Donna. I will be adorned properly at art club on Monday night and the gals will love my new style.
