Grungy Monday - Watercolor Technique

Over at Studio L3, we are continuing to review Tim Holtz' techniques and this week was right up my alley because I love to create using flower images.  I actually created five but finished two to post for the Monday Grunge Challenge.  I will upload the others when they are mounted.

The fun part of the experiment for me was using two different types of card stock -- one watercolor paper and the other watercolor canvas.

Both samples here were created on Strathmore 132 water color paper.

Both lovely, CArolyn! Do you stamp the paper, then paint with water colour? Love them both .. however RED always has been my favorite. Hugs, Donna

The colors are vibrant, just beautiful. I like the canvas one also, the yellow one has that loose shadowy look. It's always fun to experiment!

Carolyn, your work is always so elegant, and these are a perfect example of your beautiful style. I love the stamps you used-- they're perfect for the watercolor technique, and what a good idea, experimenting on different papers.
