At our last Friday Stamp Club meeting we were asked to bring one of our favorite rubber stamps to swap with another member. The intent was to use the stamp from the swap to create cards/projects for each member for the next meeting. Lucky me, I drew the Cherry Blossoms image by Penny Black.
The club members know I love oriental art so I am sure they are expecting me to give each of them an oriental themed card. HOWEVER, I thought I'd try something a little different and found a template for a little box on a Japanese web site and stamped the cherry blossoms on each of the four wide panels. I really like the way the box closes for a petal effect at the top.
Usually, when I print out a template or page from a web site, the URL is printed at the bottom of the printed page. However, it is not on the template pattern which is all in Japanese. I have looked and searched and cannot find the URL to share. I will scan what I have and forward it to a friend who provided me with the link to see if he can help me. It is a fun pattern and I'd like to give credit and ask permission before I pass it on.
