We had a wonderful holiday, actually one of our best, and it has taken me quite some time to get back to what I call a normal day. Sunday we woke up to a snow storm and as the sun came up I couldn't resist taking some photos. Fresh fallen snow is gorgeous to look at and hectic to drive in.
January brought routine doctor appointments and an unplanned trip to the dentist as I cracked a tooth eating candy with nuts. I love putting up the holiday decorations and they come down quickly but it is the repacking that takes forever. Mine are out of the living room but occupy one of the guest rooms until I find time to do it up right. Book club is at our home tomorrow so that entails extra cleaning and finishing the monthly selection.
I've also been working on some cards for Inka Stamps and will provide a link when the selections are made so that you can view my cards using her wonderful images and collage items.
Our local stamp club is doing a bulky altered book project for January and February so I've also been gluing pages together and planning a layout for my theme, "doors."
As they say, "One door closes and another opens." That is certianly true for me. A career gal one minute and retired the next with a newfound hobby.
Hope your year is starting off right; you are warm and cozy and most of all happy and healthy.
