OSA Dragonfly Mingle Card

Mary received this card so now I can post it to my blog.  I used the stained glass technique that was so popular several years ago.  Stamped the image in black on acetate.  When dry filled each section with glue with colored glitter moving from section to section.  (The acetate has to dry overnight because of the thickness of the glue and glitter combination.)  I turned the card over so the smooth side is facing out of the cut-out area and encased it beween two pieces of cardstock.  When the card is open the light provides a magical appearance, just like stained glass.   The product was from Art Institute, both glue and glitter, and surprising the glue was still usable.

For the past two days I have been organizing my boxes of bits and pieces, putting all of the backgrounds together in one box, incomplete projects and bits and pieces in a second box and the third contains templates, ideas and items that didn't fit in the other two categories.  I am determined to look in these boxes before I start a project and also use stamps that have never seen ink.  I failed at this last year and I am much more determined second time around.

Love the card. It must be spectacular in the light. I don't think you 'failed' at anything last you -- you are moving toward your goal very nicely! Good for you. hugs.
