A while back I created some faux Pergamano cards and wanted to do the same using the ornamental Easter egg image from Inka Stamps. As a standalone it needed another image so I selected the oriental Asian Tree and a basket die cut. I stamped the images in white on parchment, turned the parchment over and used a stylus to outline and emboss the designs. I also punched the parchment border but used a Martha Stewart border punch for the pink one and punched the holes. (The verse and basket are in silver rather than the color that appears from the scan.)
I have always loved this technique but like all beautiful art, it takes time to learn and execute properly so I just play around and this was the result.
DON'T FORGET WE ARE STILL CELEBRATING THE ADDITION OF A NEW MEMBER OF THE DESIGN TEAM AT INKA STAMPS, Cynthia Powell. Read my March lst post below for the special being offered by Inka Stamps.
