Second DIVAS Project

Jill also brought a project to demo and supplies if we wanted to give it a try. The object was to use chipboard shapes, indent the top using various metal designs and a mallet, adding paint for color and a final coat of paint mixed with Mod Podge.

I didn't have time to try it out in class so I took my bunny shapes home and used my Wizard with a clay texture plate for the blue one and used a metal charm like embellishment for the green one adding some gold paint to highlight the design in the green shape. To finish off the tops, I used a liquid glaze.

This technique has oodles of possibilities.

Wow, you are just going to town--those are both fabulous projects (the soap tin and the shapes, I mean)!

What a neat idea. The blue one looks Asian to me. You are right - lots of possibilities.

Love these! They'd be perfect embellishments with the haiku bunny stamp ;)
