BLACK and a touch of COLOR

It was very difficult to get a good shot of this card being it was all done in black with the exception of the silver cord.

I joined a mingle over at OSA and the requirement was to create an all black card with a touch of color. I stamped my image with Versamark and used clear embossing powder on shiny black cardstock and heated it. I then swiped the card with silver Encore and used a tissue to wipe off the excess. As you know Encore won't dry on a glossy card which was perfect because I wanted just a hint of color to set off the image. I then applied another coat of EP over the entire card. The image turned out smooth and the background more mottled. The cord through the coin is actually silver for my touch of color and the borders were a dark grey in keeping with the swap requirement of hues of black.
