Cards with Texture

Rather interesting at club Monday night, both presented projects included cards made with texture. The first incorporated a mosaic technique by adhering pieces to the background surrounding the main fish image and filling in the spaces with clear EP applied and heated two or three times to look like a real tile.

The second project incorporated the use of a Cuttlebug embossing folder on a card wrapped with aluminum foil and colored with alcohol inks prior to embossing. What makes club so much fun is the individual interpretation of the projects. By changing the color choices, design layout and image selection there was a variety of cards similar but not identical.

It was a fun night; visiting with friends and catching up on recently published submissions and personal projects shared with the group; AND, to welcome Inka back after spending a month in California caring for her mom.
