I'm still taking photos of the gorgeous spring flowers and also playing around in PhotoShop trying new techniques (experimenting really).
The single bloom insert is an odd perennial that comes up every year and can get out of control if you don't cut it back. The strange thing about this plant is it only blooms in the morning and then closes up for the rest of the day. However, if it is a rainy day or very cloudy, the blooms stay open longer.
Because of all of the rain the past few weeks the flowers have been unusually beautiful. The down side is we had some very hot weather a couple of weeks ago so many of the blooms have not lasted long, like the peonies.
