Designing Divas - April

For April, Lynn hosted the project and we all made matchbox art.  We all love tiny trinkets and altered match boxes are perfect for them.  Below is the one I created with the help of Lynn's supplies and ideas.

Lynn is always inspirational and I, of course, had to make some more.  I finally finished them.  I had to take them apart because I made the fatal error of attaching papers to the inside of the box.  That is a definite "no no" because you won't be able to slide open the drawer.  I also found a necklace with glass leaves that worked out well for the box pulls.  Taking the boxes apart ended up as a big plus and now the drawers can be opened.

Aww - are they not gorgeous! You have great patience to do small beautiful things. I always admire them, but am never sure what I will do with them. The leaves are perfect for the pulls. It's difficult to find things small enough! Thanks for all your wonderful comments on my blog, Carolyn. hugs, Donna
