Today I added some texture to the back cover of my board book for the TRENDS January project. I like this design better than the front cover; however, the proof is in the pudding after paint is applied to both. I wanted the back cover as smooth as possible so it will not get scuffed when the book is closed or handled a lot. I will wait a day or two before I get out the paints.

Carolyn, as with anything its trial and error. Looks like fun and it looks great! I want to try it again. I can hardly wait to see it painted.
