We are off and running with some continuing challenges from Linda at Studio L3 and her design team, using techniques from Tim Holtz. This week's challenge was based on the techniques Tim used for his 2008 Christmas tag 10. I modified mine just a bit to use an Easter theme. After scanning the tag I decided to go back and sponge some Distressed Antique Linen to the verse as it was a little too white and also the edges of the eggs. I may even add some more color around the basket.

Terrific Easter Grunge Carolyn, Annette x
Very cute Carolyn. The background is great and the eggs sticking out are gorgeous. Tim Holtz really knows what he's doing does he not! I've been watching some demonstrations on youtube. Hugs from Mexico. Donna
Carolyn, it's wonderful to see you at Grungy Monday! You did an absolutely wonderful job re-visioning Tim's technique into a beautiful Easter card. That background is stunning! The little basket of eggs is sweet, too, and the entire piece has such a happy feel.
I'm looking forward to seeing you next week!
Oh I LOVE what you've done with the background! Gorgeous :)
