I created a holiday card using the challenge Linda posted at Studio L3. Tim's paper rosette die was perfect to coincide with one of his embossing folders, and I used Worn Lipstick and Shabby Shutters for the double distress. The green shade combined with the grunge created a more tan appearance, don't you think?

Quite lovely and the flower is fabulous. I have to play with my die more, because all I do is tear mine!! Love this!
Beautiful - however you will have to explain, please. How did you make that piece in the middle? How did you make the lines going out from it on the card? Ah, sweet mysteries of life ... so not up on things in Mexico!
Hello, sweet lady! What a beautiful expression of the double distress technique! I love this design with the rosette and the sweet tree paper, and those colors really do look great. I love how grunge subtly changes the tonality of ink shades.
I hope you had a great Thanksgiving and are enjoying this happy season!
A wonderful Christmas card indeed! We've been having fun making paper flowers over here too.
So sorry I havent been over for awhile myself! Don't you just love that rosette! Beautiful Carolyn
