Linda at Studio L3 posted this week's challenge for Compendium of Curiosities. Again, I made tags because they come in so handy to enhance cards, use as bookmarks or attach to a gift.
I think I had my head in a cloud because I just realized Linda resides in Boise, Idaho, not more than a few miles from Eagle where we have our home. We have more in common than our love for art.

Carolyn, I had no idea we're neighbors! How wonderful! There's such a great crafting community here in the Treasure Valley-- Lynn and Christine are here, too! We'll have to all meet up!
You tags are just gorgeous! I love the little metal embellishments you used, and the chipped enamel looks great! Beautiful colors,, too, and really elegant designs. The leaves are perfectly autumnal-- and just right for our October-in-August weather!
I love the metal as well - always calls to me. And ... the writing in the background. Mysterious and lovely. I agree tags are great for so many things and you have done a gorgeous job, as always. PLUS ... you have found new neighbours to do stuff with. I love it!
I absolutely LOVE your tags..I agree and never can have too many!
Carolyn, these are so pretty, and a welcome to my eyes. I am so ready for fall, sick of this hot weather. Just love the colors you chose. Beautiful work :0)
These are beauties! (I was in Meridian yesterday....drove an elderly friend to St. Luke's for some tests. I'm in NE Oregon, north of La Grande.)
Both of these are just beautiful!
Keep rubbing it in all you Boise people! First the weather and now the great crafting community! Both of your tags are just spectacular! Love all the details and colors!
WOOHOO to you Idahoans ... I'm in Northern Nevada these days, but I'll forever be an Idaho girl!
Great tags, love the way you're using the technique!
Gorgeous Carolyn!'I had to laugh I wasn't aware you didn't know Linda, We have gotten together a few times to stamp. You'd Love her. She would be a great addition to our club if she wasnt so busy!
What a great pair of tags. This technique kinda makes the large metal ring look rusted---just great.
Hi Carolyn, these tags are both great. Your chipped enamel technique really worked well on them. Thanks for sharing, Shawn
Love these tags. Beautiful colours and stamping, and the metal works so well.
