CCChallenge #4 - Shabby Chic

The challenge for this week over at StudioL3 is Shabby Chic for Compendium of Curiosities.  I was at Hobby Lobby today and saw a string of beads and they were perfect for my shabby chic creation.  I used a background image by Scrolls Work along with turquoise and silver paints on a piece of grungeboard that I cut with the ornamental die.  My dabbers seem to be drying out so I had to substitute some of the colors I originally selected.

Carolyn, I absolutely LOVE your little fish card! The pearly blue background is so pretty, and those little beads are darling!

My dabbers are drying out, too. In fact, I almost always have to add water and stir before I use them. They do rehydrate well, unless they've gone completely solid. Time consuming, yes, but most of the time you can salvage them.

Thanks so much for sharing this gorgeous art at the Compendium Challenge! You always make such lovely things. ♥

You always know 'just the right things' to put together. A true gift, Carolyn! Lovely. The fish were a great find.

I had trouble posting your last comment on my blog. I had to cut and paste. Have you had any issues with blogger in this arena? Thanks D xx
