Our youngest son has been visiting us from California and I also signed up to participate in a Halloween workshop hosted by Inka at Inka Stamps. I felt guilting working on crafts when visits are not that frequent so I rushed the last couple of days to catch up with the rest of the participants.
The project started with a piece of wood which we rusted using acrylic paints and soda powder. I used the technique for the "stage" of my assemblage so it is difficult to see. It is a terrific technique providing texture as well as a rusty appearance.
The images were from Inka's Halloween collage sheets and I stamped the base with some of her rubber stamps.
Here is the second one I created. What you can't see are the fine fibers that I entwined throughout both pieces for a cob web, wispy appearance.

Sunday is my DH's birthday so you know what I will be working on tomorrow.

Very festive! I didn't know that I shared a birthday with your hubby ;) Happy celebrations.
these are wonderful. I love the vibrant colours
I was so happy you brought these to share at out local stamping club! They are soooo much better in real life! Your pictures are great but a picture just can’t capture how cute they really are!
